Outsiders worth support in Big Apple

He bowed out in the semis to Federer in straight sets but he could easily have taken that match deeper with more luck in a tie break.
He famously delivered a celebratory crate of vodka to the press room when won in 2000 and if he gets on a roll he might just give us another reason to toast the likeable Muscovite.
At huge tennis odds of 100/1 David Nalbandian is worth interest.
The man from Argentina tasted success here as a youth when he claimed the junior US Open title.
Adept on clay, grass and hard courts he has defeated Federer and Nadal inside the past year and holds a 2-0 match win record over the Spaniard and a respectable 9-10 match deficit against the Swiss.
