Arum fans Mayweather flames

Floyd Mayweather is “afraid” and “terrified” of losing his unbeaten record against Manny Pacquiao, top promoter Bob Arum has told Totesport.com big-fight followers.
Talk of a potential super-fight between the two has intensified since Filipino superstar Pacquiao completed a demolition job over Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas last weekend to take the WBO welterweight title and cement his status as the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet.
American comeback king Mayweather believes he is the rightful owner of that title and has question why Pacquiao would entertain the thought of trying to shatter his 40-0 unbeaten record, adding he is “one-dimensional”.
Arum, Mayweather’s former promoter, has fired back by insisting the 32-year-old has already ducked big-name opponents and will not want to risk losing his zero against Pacquiao.
“He is afraid, terrified of losing that zero,” said Arum.
“That’s why he’s ducked (Shane) Mosely, (Antonio) Margarito and (Miguel) Cotto, and the question is will he duck Manny Pacquiao because he’s so afraid of losing that zero.”
