The tennis action continues this week with the BNP Paribas Open from the Palais Omnisports in Paris, where the likes of Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic (6/4 favourite tournament outright) and Andy Murray will be looking to land a major psychological blow ahead of the end of season World Tour Finals.

The season-ending WTA Tour Championships get underway in Istanbul on Tuesday with the top eighth players in the world set to battle it out to see who is crowned top dog. Victoria Azarenka is the top seed but Serena Williams heads the market after her superb end to the year (Williams 6/5 Outright Winner).

The tennis action continues next week and Monday sees the start of the If Stockholm Open where there are a number of intriguing clashes, most notably Gael Monfils’ match with Patrik Rosenholm (Match Betting – Monfils 1/25, Rosenholm 9/1) and Lleyton Hewitt’s tie against Kevin Anderson.

After yet another exciting weekend with the Davis Cup, the tennis action continues this week with a number of high-quality tournaments, most notably the Open de Moselle where top seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will be looking to retain the title he claimed in 2011 (Open de Moselle).

British number one Andy Murray might have broken his Grand Slam duck in New York City, but at 12/5 he is not the favourite to win the 2012 Sports Personality of the Year in December.

Serena Williams will play Victoria Azarenka in the final of the 2012 Women’s US Open later on Saturday looking for her fourth title at Flushing Meadows.
