Beverley stages a seven-race card on Tuesday afternoon with the going on the Westwood being forecast ‘Good to Soft, Soft in places’. The first event – the TurfTV Betting Shop Service Maiden Stakes – is due off at 2.00.

There is a six-race card on a low-key racing day on Monday at the Cleveland circuit. The first event is due off at 2.00 and the advance going is forecast ‘Soft, heavy in places’.

There is a seven-race card at Uttoxeter on Sunday and the Midlands track begins the action at 200. The advance going is forecast ‘Heavy’.

Lingfield stage their classic trials card on the Polytrack for the first time as a result of the recent torrential rain that has waterlogged the turf track. The card gets under way at 2.10 and the advance going for the six-race programme is ‘Standard’.

The final day of the Chester May Festival offers a squelchy end to the showcase meeting, but there are another fine seven races, the first of which is due off at 1.35. The advance going on the Roodeye is Soft, Heavy in places.
