Broad urges caution for third Test against wounded South Africa

Stuart Broad has demanded England keep their feet on the ground and concentrate on proving their Kingsmead success was no fluke when they face South Africa in the third Test in Cape Town.
Andrew Strauss’ tourists (4/7 Test Series Winners) secured a surprise victory by an innings and 98 runs on Wednesday to move 1-0 ahead in the series with two Tests to play.
Strauss has already warned his side over complacency creeping in and Broad (5/1 Top England Bowler) admits there is still a long way to go this winter.
He said: “We’re improving all the time. It’s crucial that we don’t get carried away, though.”
England coach Andy Flower rates Paul Collingwood as 50-50 after a light training session on New Year’s Day.
Collingwood dislocated his left index finger during the second Test win and Michael Carberry and Luke Wright are waiting to take his place should he not make it.
Flower confirmed: “He had a net, did some fielding and a bit of slip-catching, and his finger felt better than he thought it might.
“That’s positive news but we’ll do a final fitness test on him tomorrow.”
The first Test ended in a draw at Centurion.
