The Scoop 6 is there to be won this Saturday and with a big rollover we could become a millionaire!!!
Don’t be put off by the big fields particularly in the £200,000 Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury (3.30 Channel 4 Racing) over the flying 5 furlongs.
Richard Hannon, the Champion Trainer, makes a habit of winning this valuable prize and with 4 fancied runners he’s at it again and his unbeaten REDACT who was very impressive last time out has Ryan Moore on board and could be well drawn in 15.
MENTION is another that certainly deserves a mention and after winning well at the track last time out it’s interesting that Brian Meehan has snapped up the services of the very strong and very light Sylvestre de Souza who must go well off just 8 stone 3lbs!
The Pipe/McCoy combination took the bookies to the cleaners several years ago in the Summer Hurdle when Chicuelo landed some lumpy wagers and although it’s Pipe junior in charge now, they could be about to repeat the dose as STREET ENTERTAINER (2.05 Channel 4 Racing) must have every chance in the first leg. He’s been kept fresh for this race since winning at Punchestown and must go close.
DEACON BLUES who did us such a good turn when winning the Wokingham at Royal Ascot steps up into Group 3 company in the Shadwell Stakes (2.20 Channel 4 Racing) and can continue the good work under Frankie Dettori.
Deacon Blues is part owned by the Essex based Michelle Morris and I think she’s played the DVD of her horse winning at the Royal Meeting about 50,000,000 times!
Here at Newmarket Sir Henry Cecil’s WILD COCO looked something very special when winning at Haydock by 8 lengths and must be included in any Scoop 6 bets in the Newsells Park Stud stakes (2.35 Channel 4 Racing).
However this looks a hot fillies raced with the classic placed MEEZNAH trained by Sir Henry’s ex assistant David Lanigan a she looks a big danger!
The ukunpublished.co.uk handicap looks the potential scoop 6 buster but if there is any justice in this world then NELSON’S BOUNTY should win (3.10 Channel 4 Racing).
He was last of 10 at Ascot last time behind RAVE but got no sort of run and was very, very unlucky!
He doesn’t have obvious claims but given Peter Bowen’s ability to bag these big summer jumps races, SAPHIR DES BOIS has to be respected in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen (3.45 Channel 4 Racing). You’ve got to delve a fair way back to find some decent form but he definitely has ability on his day and he could prove to be a sporting bet in what looks a tricky finale.
But don’t just take my word for it- I’ve given you a few contenders who should play a hand in the finishes in the Scoop 6 races so why not have a go?!
For £2 you could become a millionaire!!!
