Europe 8/11 to win back the Ryder Cup
Monday, September 22nd, 2008Totesport believe that Europe will have no problem winning back the Ryder Cup in two years time, going as short as 8/11 for a home victory at Celtic Manor. The USA are industry top price 11/8.
Paul Petrie, totesport spokesman commented, “For the first time a home captain has set everything up to give as much advantage to his team as possible and it was a great performance by Paul Azinger. We believe, if Europe takes that lead, and makes Celtic Manor as advantageous as possible for their players, there will be only one winner. Add in Ian Woosnam as captain and the Americans would be as well not turning up!”
Meanwhile, the firm we left happy with their decision to push the European team out to even money in the lead up to the competition.
Petrie added, “Nick Faldo said it was all about fractions and to be fair the final score probably flattered the Americans. However, we felt that everything was falling right for the home team and are delighted with the result.”
